After the Hospital: Longer-Term Impacts of Pediatric Sepsis

Many children hospitalized with sepsis go on to experience Post-Intensive Care Syndrome, which can involve a constellation of symptoms including new physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges as well as increased use of healthcare resources.
